Fire suppression systems are used to extinguish or prevent the spread of fire in a building. Suppression systems use a combination of dry chemicals and wet agents to suppress equipment fires. Suppression systems is a necessity of today world from residence to commercial complex and industries as they help control damage and loss to value able , human life and equipment. Common means of detection are through heat sensors, wiring, or manual detection (depending on system selection).

How Fire Suppression System works

A typical fire suppression system consists of three basic components detection, actuation & delivery
  • Detection – This process is done via either of the two ways i.e. Mechanical or Electrical. In mechanical process, detection is done by fusible links while electrical process employs heat detectors to sense the fire ignition
  • Actuation – This component of fire suppression system deals with triggering of the extinguishing agent via release valves or pumps
  • Delivery – Delivery of the extinguishing agent is done through piping & nozzles to the affected area
Keeping in mind that different types of applications have specialized needs, Ceasefire & Electrical Services has designed a wide range of Fire Suppression Systems that can put out fires efficiently.

The proliferation of Offices and the ever-increasing congestion there is a serious possibility of outbreak of fire, which could easily get out of hand with disastrous consequences to life, property and Business Operations. Our offices house a variety of equipment ranging from Computers to Communication equipment worth corers of Rupees and hence there is a need to understand the risks and hazards to provide a safe and secure working environment. Fire precautions, Firefighting, Dos and Don'ts in case of fire, evacuation drills etc. need to be tested and practiced time and again to contain and combat fire.

Fire risks and hazards increase in direct proportion to the height of a building because of various factors such as difficulty of access, lack of safe and adequate means of escape, excessive fire loads due to increased floor space, and the large number of people living or working therein.
